Brown Butter Co. provides website design, web development, and custom animation services. The scope, timeline, and deliverables for each project are agreed upon individually and confirmed in writing before work begins. Any changes to the agreed scope after sign-off may affect the timeline and fee.

Advance payments are non-refundable and serve to secure your project slot in our schedule. Payment terms are agreed upon at the start of each engagement and are outlined in the project proposal. We reserve the right to pause or discontinue work if payments are not made in accordance with the agreed schedule.

Projects are expected to be completed within 30–45 days from the date of confirmed sign-off and advance payment. Timelines are contingent on timely feedback and content delivery from the client. Delays caused by late feedback, missing content, or change requests beyond the agreed scope may extend the project timeline accordingly.

Projects inactive for 45 or more days — due to lack of client response or delayed content — will be considered closed. Restarting an inactive project will require a fresh quote based on current pricing. Previous payments made are not adjusted against the new quote.

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the proposal. Revisions are understood to be refinements within the agreed scope — not new directions or additions. Requests that fall outside the agreed scope will be scoped and quoted separately.

A 30-day post-launch support period is included with every completed project. This covers technical issues directly related to the work delivered. It does not include new feature requests, design changes, content updates, or third-party platform issues. Additional support or updates after this period are billed separately.

Upon receipt of full and final payment, the client owns the final delivered website and its design assets. Brown Butter Co. retains the right to display the completed work in our portfolio, on our website, and across our marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any third-party assets used during the project — including fonts, stock imagery, or plugins — remain subject to their respective licensing terms. It is the client's responsibility to ensure continued licensing compliance after handover.

The client is responsible for providing accurate content, brand assets, and timely feedback at each stage of the project. Brown Butter Co. is not liable for delays or outcomes resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or late content provided by the client. The client is also responsible for reviewing and approving all deliverables before the project is marked complete.

Brown Butter Co. will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or the delivered website. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific project in question.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from our services or these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
